Mr. Garrett has served in various financial, operating and engineering management roles with energy and technology companies for over 30 years. These have included executive officer roles with technology start-ups to Fortune 200 companies. Within the energy industry, he has worked for Marathon Oil Company, Consolidated Natural Gas (Dominion), American Gas Association and Energy West. Mr. Garrett has raised substantial capital from equity centers throughout the world and has completed numerous public equity offerings. Professional credentials include Registered Professional Engineer. Mr. Garrett has a BS in Engineering and MBA, both from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Garrett has served on many non-profit and for-profit Boards and is a Board Advisor of State of Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership, CWRU ThinkBox Advisor and Board member of Lake Geauga Recovery Centers.
Bill Ullom III
Chief Technology Officer & Founder
Mr. Ullom is founder and owner of Vadose Environmental Consultants, Inc. Prior to the founding of Vadose Environmental, Mr. Ullom served as President of LOMAK Petroleum (Southwest), Inc., and served as Vice President of Exploration & Development, LOMAK Petroleum, Inc. Previously, he served as Manager of Frontier Exploration and Manager, Gulf Coast Division of Placid Oil Company, directing exploration of its domestic deepwater assets and foreign concessions under the direction of the Hunt family after serving Hunt Energy Corporation and the William Herbert Hunt Trust Estate. Mr. Ullom is a member of Adjunct Faculty at Stark State College of Technology in the Environmental Technology Program. Mr. Ullom’s education includes geochemistry and geology and has a BS in Geology from Indiana University.
President Vadxx O&M and Vice President Operations & Engineering
Through his 12-year career at General Electric, Mr. DeBenedictis gained an extensive understanding of operational leadership, with a particular focus on driving top and bottom line growth through operational and technical excellence coupled with people development. As the Managing Director for a $50M manufacturing business, he utilized Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma as the enablers for driving breakthroughs in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Mr. DeBenedictis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University with a concentration in Banking and Finance. A graduate of GE’s Operational Management Leadership Program, he has received accelerated professional development training from the esteemed John F. Welch Leadership Center at Crotonville in organizational development, leadership, innovation, and change. He is also a GE certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing implementation expert.
Vice President Technology and Process Development
Dr. Prybyla has 30+ years of industrial chemical process experience with several firms including positions as an R&D Manager and Program Manager at Goodrich Corporation (formerly BFGoodrich). Dr. Prybyla is an expert in statistical Design of Experiments (DOE) chemistry, process, and manufacture optimization. He is very active in the area of petroleum yield process analysis and confirmation. Dr. Prybyla has a BS in Physical Chemistry from Worcester State College, and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Iowa State University.
